BRENDA ANN (PETRANGELO) GARVEY

Brenda Ann (Petrangelo) Garvey, 51, of West Warwick, a loving wife, mother and sister, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.  She was the beloved wife of thirty years to Steven F. Garvey.

Born in Warwick on July 4, 1972, Brenda was the loving daughter of the late Roger J. Petrangelo and Judith Sharpe.

Brenda was raised and educated in West Warwick.  She was employed as a Food and Beverage Manager at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick for the past twelve years.  Years earlier, she enjoyed working as the Restaurant Manager at the former Mr. Taco in West Warwick.

Brenda enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, and nature.  She also enjoyed traveling to Florida, New Hampshire, and Chicago.  Family was at the heart of Brenda’s life.  She treasured time spent with her family, especially her children, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her beloved husband, Brenda is survived by her two loving sons:  Ryan W. Garvey and Cameron W. Garvey of West Warwick; a sister:  Dana Sholes of Warwick; and nieces and nephews.

She was the loving sister of the late Carla Bowen.

Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 5 PM - 7 PM in the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington Street, ROUTE 117, Coventry.  A Funeral Service will be conducted in the Iannotti Funeral Home on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 11 AM.  Brenda will be laid to rest in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Warwick.
